The school caravan is located at Stubbers Activity Centre in Upminster and has been specially adapted to meet the needs of our students. It includes an accessible bedroom and bathroom, with space for hoisting equipment where required. The site offers a range of facilities, including a café, play area and beautiful walking routes, providing plenty of opportunities for students to enjoy the outdoors. We are currently developing a programme that will use the caravan to help students build their independence by practising important life skills such as cooking meals, getting dressed and managing daily routines. The experience will also help students develop confidence in staying away from home, improve their social skills, and strengthen friendships through opportunities to interact with their peers in a relaxed and supportive environment.
