Well done to Thomas who won the kindness cup last term for peddling his friends around the track at Just Ride.
Today Mrs Price came to visit and we were able to show her the Ron Price Memorial Bench that has been placed at the entrance of the school. Ron did a great deal for the school including running his legendary fund-raising quizzes and being an active member of the private funds trust at the school.
Ron will always have a special place in our hearts here at Lancaster School
Well Done to Ronnie who won the Kindness Cup for helping his friend when they needed it to get through a doorway in their walker.
Prittlewell had a visit from Peter Swanwick, a road safety officer who delivered a presentation about pedestrian road safety and how to spot hazards. Afterwards in small groups students had the chance to use a Speed Radar Gun to check the speeds of the cars outside of school.
Our new time for Let's Get Active, our weekly whole-school physical movement session, is Thursday mornings. This week Tyler, Deji and Mason did a great job of leading the exercises.
Now that our hall is out of use due to building work we are having our assemblies next door at the Chase School.

Students have been selling bracelets in school in memory of Darren F, a learning support assistant who worked at the school for many years and who died in September. Orange was Darren's favourite colour and money raised by the bracelets was donated to the Lancaster Lions Football Club.
Thank you to everyone who donated to Darren's bracelets. Together, we raised £152.30 which was counted by students in Southend Class this morning.
