Southend Update on Pandemic

Message from Amanda Shears

If you are a person with disabilities and/or a parent/carer supporting someone with a disability we would like to invite you to the following event which is taking place on Friday 12th February 2021 at 10am – 11am via Zoom.

Please feel free to share this invite with your networks, friends and families.

About this Event

We will be joined by Krishna Ramkhelawon, Director of Public Health in Southend, as well as colleagues from the council, health partners and voluntary sector colleagues to hear the latest updates on the pandemic and the response in Southend.

This session will be focussed on discussions around Disabilities and related services in Southend. We welcome all those who work within or have lived experience of this topic. We would especially like to welcome those who themselves have

Disabilities, to hear their voices and opinions of the pandemic.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, provide feedback and generate ideas on how we can help keep people in Southend safe during these times.

We would like to make this event as accessible to all as much as possible. Please let us know if there is anything we can to accommodate you joining us. We will also be releasing an audio recording of the session afterwards. For more information about how to use Zoom and their accessibility features, please visit: https://zoom.us/accessibility
