Dear Parents/Carers

As you know we have had a significant number of Covid positive tests - 17 students and 9 staff have tested positive in the last 2 days. 

So, in response to this, these are the actions we are taking 

1. Daily testing in classes where there are positive cases (students or staff)
2. Football and Swimming clubs are both cancelled this week
3. We will continue to report daily to Jackie Mullen (our Executive Head of the MAT), the local authority and Public Health officials in Southend 
4. Students will continue to remain in class bubbles - minimal mixing
5. Masks will be worn in communal areas
