The 16-19 Bursary Grant is available for students in years 12-14 who need financial support in order to remain in education. 

It is intended to be used for educational purchases such as equipment, books, uniform or travel costs.  The attached form explains who is eligible for the grant.  If your child is eligible for the grant and in need of extra financial support for attending school please complete and return the form to school as soon as possible.

A panel will meet early in the Autumn Term to assess forms received for eligibility and agree on funding levels. 

Please note, funding levels will depend on individual student circumstances and intended use or funding.  Funding will not always be a cash payment, where appropriate funding my be paid in-kind or as reimbursement.
